Today Ian welcomes Amy Kurr at the Conscious Design Podcast and she will be talking about how she works with students in the STEM fields. She first talks about how she feels the industry is changing and then follows up with a brief commentary on how people don’t often realize their talents. Amy then talks about how you should feel special about yourself and realize what your strengths, passions and motivations are. Then she and Ian both comment on how extremely successful people just end up doing the same thing all over again. Amy then explains her definition of a minority and how she tries to help them. While talking about minorities he shares some practical tips and mindset changes that everybody should follow. In her final thoughts Amy shares some links in which you can find her and invites the audience to ask her questions, if the need arises.
