GET CERTIFIED

Our certification is an expanded workshop, going beyond just introducing you to the concepts, but helping you to create value for your clients. This certification is aimed toward agencies and firms in consulting or design. We believe we can make the most impact in the world by helping the people who design and consult the worlds companies have the tools to bring circularity to their clients in an efficient, profitable way that benefits them, their customers, and the world. During the certification workshop, you will:

  • 2 days of in-person training
  • Learn how to “think circularly” using the evaluation tools of Conscious Design.
  • Bring your own case study Clients/ Projects or work through our examples.
  • Digital assets/tools/downloads on completion
  • Digital certification logo for use on website on completion
  • Digital assets/tools/downloads on completion
  • Digital certification logo for use on website on completion
  • Work in groups of 4-5 to collaborate and reinforce the learnings and solve your own problems.
  • Companies may bring up to 5 people for a workshop, custom packages are available beyond 5 people
  • $15,000 initial Certification, $2k/yr maintenance with a half day yearly virtually for workshopping

Hosting this work shop is Ian Peterman, Author or the Conscious Design Book and Host of the Conscious Design Podcast. He’s the founder of Peterman Design Firm, a design agency focused on sustainable products, as well as founder of Conscious DesignHaus, the organization pushing forward the concepts and ideals of Conscious Design to create a global circular economy.

 

Bonus items for becoming a certified business:

  • For any companies you refer to us for certification you may receive one of two options
    • 1 – if you are the first entity certified in a country (or state in the US) then you will receive a 35% referral fee for any year 1 investments your referral makes
    • 2 – if you are the second or anyone after to be certified in a country (or state in the US) then you will receive a 10% referral fee for any year 1 investments your referral makes

  • Evaluation forms/ questions/ surveys/ consultation agenda’s the nuts and bolts of the exact questions on how to evaluate clients using the 4 principles.

Lenses & Filters

Lenses – Perspectives you can apply to a situation to expand on the 4 principles basically there are 4 lenses they allow for expansion of each of the 4 pillars, for example the inclusion lenses would allow a client to jump inside the head/ heart of a person or business that does inclusion SUPER well- allowing your client to quickly and easily begin to mimic the success others who naturally think and act in ways that promote and sustain useful inclusion principles and practices.

 

Filters – Perspectives  you can apply to refine your results on the 4 principles for example the connection filter would allow your client to refine their current connections and focus building up their existing relationships that provide the most meaningful and desired outcomes.  Another example of a commonly used filter is the 80/20 principle which is a filter based on efficiency.
