Today we are talking to a special guest, by the name Gavin Allwright. He starts off by describing his project and talking a bit about his background. Gavin and Ian then discuss what problems fuel prices cause for smaller ports. Gavin then continues to discuss his technology in more detail and how it works in practice. Gavin continues to talk more about legislation and how that influences the field he works in. Gavin also mentions how perception of the idea has brought him more problems than merit. Ian and Gavin both discuss how such technology and ones similar to it can threaten multi-million-dollar industries. In the guest outro Gavin sums up interesting parts of his technology and ships and invites everybody on board.
