Today Ian welcomes his guest, Nick Mailhiot with Michelin Tires to talk about design, challenges in design, and the Michelin Movin’On Challenge Design in 2021. Nick starts off by introducing himself and talks about his first impressions and challenges when he took over a big project. Nick and Ian continue to talk about the potential impact an idea can have and how it can inspire even the competition to do better. Nick answers Ian’s question about which age demographic engages with the Movin’On Challenge Design, which has been running since 2001. They also talk about some of the ideas with most potential come from and what they have been in the past. Nick also talks about the importance of having multiple inputs. Ian and Nick then talk a bit more about the importance of mobility in the modern-day era. Nick then shares contact details and some final thoughts and invites anybody to contact him, if they are interested.
